I figure since Rebecca and Stephanie did it I should do it too.. D: But the memories are already faded! Be prepared for a scarcity of details...

Friday:
Went to grad rehearsal, skipped the rest of the school day with Tab (Melissa) CUZ WE BALLIN We took forever to pack and leave and got to the hotel at about 2ish (?). I tried to check in, and the guy behind the counter was a doosh What I had tried to do was check in now, pay at the end of the stay... but the guy wouldn't let me do that :/ he said it didn't make sense since so many people were staying at the hotel that weekend and if he let me do he's have to let everyone else do it... blahdy blahdy blah. Anyways, I'm a frazzled person, illogical by nature, so I remembered, "Oh, I have about $500 in my account... I'll just pay for it now and my mom can pay me back."

EHH. WRONG. There wasn't that much money. I overwithdrew. My mom freaked out when she heard and had the charges reversed, but my account is still a mess... where's my money? DD:

ANYWAYS. So me and Melissa walked around for a long time. Melissa = noob lolzzz. Saw Rebecca, Stephanie and Kelsey doing a Pokemon cosplay. so cute XD They were having so much fun! I'm kind of sad I didn't spend more time with them.

Mom arrived with my brother at like 5:30-ish? The Pokemon friends helped load the food to our room, and were rewarded with Oatmeal Cream Pies. Changed into my Strawberry Shortcake costume. People started taking my picture and stuff...I got creeped out. Rebecca and Christine came at at like 8-ish? Registration was closed by then so they couldn't register that night But that was okay... they still got to go to all the events and shizz.

Alsdead and Camino concert that night, then the steampunk dance afterwards. I changed into my steampunk outfit And this is where to complaints begin: We were in the hotel room and already late to the concert, and Melissa began hinting to everyone, "I really want to see AlsDead." So I got ready really quickly, but I guess Rebecca and Christine didn't catch the hint? Cuz they proceeded to get ready as slowly and meticulously as possible. By the time I had hustled them out the door, the concert was half done. By the time we got downstairs and got into the ballroom, there were only 15 minutes left of the concert. Boo.

Then Camino came on. I got kicked out of the concert b/c I took a video I deleted it on the spot, but they didn't let me back in.

Then my group went to Steampunk dance to discover that it was lame Oh well. We went back to the room and slept.

Saturday
Got up at like 10...11? Rebecca and Elizabeth both were texting me, "We're here! We're here!" We took forever to get out of the room, it seemed, b/c we had to wait for Rebecca to finish eating -_-" It wouldn't have bothered me as much if she hadn't waited until everyone was ready to go to fix breakfast. Whatever. I think I was annoyed with Rebecca this weekend b/c I spend too much time with her. I was over the annoyance by the time the weekend ended.

Dressed in my Tohru/Prince Yuki costume. Met with Elizabeth, who was dressed as Haruhi from Ouran. We took a shoujo heroines photo Overwithdrew from my account... again >.> *no comment* Met up with the fan club, who was looking for an ATM. Walked around, shopped. Stephanie Jones came at 2 And then my weekend looked brighter. We needed a happy-go-lucky person in our room to settle the nerves.

Uhhh more shopping/walking around? Went to cosplay show. WAS AWESOME HOMGGGG. Highlight of my weekend!!! Death Note as a Disney movie = winwinwinwinwinnnn.... (More complaints: Christine and Rebecca missed the show for some stupid "we're too tired" reason... way to try and enjoy the con?)

Went back to the room. Changed into rave outfits, rested until the rave at midnight. Stephanie did her "perverted old man from Family Guy" impression. Mom almost died of laughs. Went to the rave at midnight. Got a drunk lady in our elevator. Elevator got full. On the next floor...
Drunk Lady (really loudly): "We can fit one skinny person!"
*two chunky people get on*
*WEIGHT CAPACITY ALARM GOES OFF*
Me: *discreetly holding down the "door open" button* The elevator needs people to get off now.

And we waited until they got the hint and got off.

BTW, raves? Cornocopia of people on hard drugs. HARD DRUGS. Guy asked me to sleep with him by showing me a text message on his phone. I said no.

Sunday:
Nothin really cuz we had to check out at 11

And that was my A-Kon experience. Generally good. I liked the dancing, didn't like the leerish stares. Would've liked to dance to a song that had words, but whatever.
